HandleLife Academy

HandleLife Academy is a nonprofit organization that provides youth with academic support and athletic training to develop high character student-athletes committed to discipline, teamwork, and the ability to overcome adversity.

At Handle Life Academy, we are committed to developing well-rounded athletes through a comprehensive training regimen that mirrors the routines of NBA professionals.

Skills and Drills: Intensive sessions focusing on ball-handling, shooting, and offensive and defensive strategies to enhance on-court performance.
Strength and Conditioning: Customized workouts designed to improve strength, agility, and endurance, ensuring athletes are physically prepared for the demands of the game.
Film Study: Analytical sessions where players review game footage to understand tactics, recognize areas for improvement, and develop a deeper basketball IQ.
Leadership and Mental Health Workshops: Programs aimed at fostering leadership qualities, teamwork, and mental resilience, essential components for success both on and off the court.

Johnny Stephene, is the founder of HandleLife and a distinguished NBA skills coach known for his innovative ball-handling techniques. He has trained NBA stars such as Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, and Chris Paul.
